St John's Church Services
We hold our weekly morning worship on Sunday at 10:30 am. This is a new start time from 3 July 2011 and a review of the start time will take place at the beginning of November. There are planned Special Services at 6.30 pm.
We are pleased that we have a number of young people who attend church and are members of our Junior Church which takes place on most Sundays, the only exceptions being Junior Church anniversary and other all age services. We welcome all visting children into Junior Church. Incidentally on most Sundays the Junior Church members are present in the service for around 15-20 minutes prior to leaving for their groups. On communion Sundays, instead of being in at the beginning of the service, the Junior Church is in fact present for around the second half of the service.
Our services are very varied in their content, however most of the time you will find interaction between the person leading the worship and the congregation, a fact we at St John's are very proud of.
Our services are lead by a variety of people ranging from our own minister to many local preachers and even one of our churches worship leaders.
We hold communion services around once every 6 weeks.
St John's Church is closely linked with Horwich Moor Methodist Church which has a regular weekly Sunday Service at 2.30 pm
